Check required fields in a form

I have a feedback form on my site and I am trying to validate the e-mail box so that it is a required field, otherwise I do not know where the message has come from. I have designed the form in Front Page and followed all the instructions but it still allows me to send the form with this box left blank. Is there an easy way around this?
