K now that i got my site up, http://members.lycos.co.uk/mcfatter/, i got start working on the forum boards. Im looking for one that is easy to handle but can take alot. The website is for a class of kids, about 150 kids in all more or less plus the teachers. Now many problems go wit hthat suck as how to know who is who and to keep them from doin things like cussing or stating bad topics. Any ideas? Well if you know any good forum boards please post them here. Thanks for your time!

there are alot of good forums out there......this one......javascript city.......if you want your kids to just have a forum of their own you can set up a club in yahoo clubs and they can work with each other thru the message board........my web design class did this and it was a great help to all of us......we invited teachers to join and we helped each other alot with problems we would have with different assignments....and if you set it up and adminster it you can keep them honest and respectable of each other.... it is free and you can also monitor who joins.......good luck

I use one called x-forum. You can find the example (running on my site) at
X-Forum (http://pandsmoc.com/cgi-bin/x-forum.cgi)

You can find the scripts to download, forum for help and other stuff at:

Coding Domain (http://www.condigdomain.com)

It uses Perl and CGI and is easy to set up and use.
