absolutely positioned scrollable area code wont work for me...

hi

ive been trying to get an absolutely positioned scrollable area on mys ite for awhile. ive even copied a site's exact html from an example page then uploaded it to my site, and somehow it wont work. an error will pop up when i put the mouse on the scroll up or scroll down buttons, or there wont even show up. one example is found here: http://blackenpartycrew.com/empire/test/1test.html

i'm not sure what i did wrong.

but once i transfered it onto that page it stopped working, even before i tried to move it around on the page.

i had been trying codes for one's that scroll up and down, and the code for one that scroll across was the only one i could get to work, even though i'd prefer one that scrolled up and down.

i'd like to get this site up soon, and this is the only thing stopping me.
