View Full Version : Difference between Delphi and Pascal Programming
Hi masters,
Please explain me the differences between the Delphi and Pascal Programming.
Are they same or different?
To be able to run their codes, what do I need to install ? Where can I get the installers from?
Countless thanks,
iota

it's been a while, but Delphi is an IDE/compiler for Object Pascal. you might be able to pick up an old standard edition from a magainze cover CD now and again. or else, you could always buy the cheapest product of the latest version for about £75 or whatever it is in your currency.
i guess if you want a better explanation, you could always try the homepage of the company which make Delphi. that's normally a good place to start LOL

Borland, the maker of Delphi, gave out Delphi Personal Edition Six away free if you took their survey. Check their site http://www.borland.com and see if they are still doing anything like this. If you're just learning Pascal then go with a free compiler. Tons of them are avaliable on the Internet. Here is an http://www.bloodshed.net/devpascal.html that also comes with a Pascal compiler.
