I just noticed that google has a "search harder" feature. After you enter something to search, and hit the search button, the results will pop up. Go to the bottom, and next to the search button you'll see "search harder". Kinda weird. It doesn't seem to work on IE, just firefox.

Try this: http://www.google.com/search?q=qwerty&start=0&start=0&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official

Here's a screeshot.

its a bit hard to find.....i mean on googles site ...and why did they use it? google's normal search technology is decent for most people - the advanced search is better for finding more detailed information

are you trolling? there's no search harder feature at all. think you've made it up and faked the picture.

now, if you had said we need that sorta feature for this (and other) dev forums, then i'd have believed ya LOL

That picture is real!! I didn't make anything up. Might be gone now though.....maybe it was experimental.

the picture might be a genuine fake. maybe you didn't make anything up, but a fake is a fake is a fake. if it was an experiment, they wouldn't test it online.

there's a "search within results" link at the bottom of the Google results page - is that what you mean?

Alright, you don't have to believe me, but I know what I saw. Apparently, I'm not the only one who saw this and you're not the only ones who can't:

lol. Sometimes you'll see some weird options if you go to http://www2.google.com/ and http://www3.google.com/ ...they usually test their BETA stuff on those servers before it goes on the main server. I just use them because it's faster.

theekid182 - did you really have to bring up a month old thread?
