i recommend against internetregistration.com to register domain names.

i recently renewed my domain online with a credit card, and they billed me twice. i attempted to contact them by email and phone and have had no response. i am currently contacting my credit card company for help.

i am not impressed.

Well, if and when you transfer your registration to another registrar, you'll have to pay for another year -- it's just tacked onto your current date, so you don't lose any time.

I recommend www.directnic.com . I've have a handful of domains with them, and have had zero problems with domain registrations, etc. And when I did have a problem with a web site, their tech support replied within the day (often with hours) with very helpful and knowledgeable replies. Their tech support has been the best I've ever had to use!

And, of course, there are many other registrars out there (GoDaddy.com, etc.). I'd just make sure that they're ICANN certified, etc.

Good luck.

I used godaddy.com because it was cheap and they had a good system, and I had heard many recomendations about them before...

I use Easily (http://easily.co.uk) for domains, they have good service, facilities and don't scam people with ultra cheap doomains.

I still suggest the use of cjb.net. i have found nothing that could make you not like it! i mean, theres url cloaking, you can register any type of domain name (.net, .com, .cjb.net is usual though) plus its FREE. They dont have any annoying popup adds either! They are the convenience of a pay per domain name service, but is strangly Free

I use http://www.registerfly.com The domains are $9.99 and there service is outstanding. I use them on every site I ever made, and all my clients sites.

Well let me throw my two cents in... Its more expensive, but I trust the good ole Network Solutions/Verisign www.netsol.com. I've registered over 20 domains with them over the past 2 year and never had a problem... I can't bring myself to trust some of these "cheaper" sites. With a few exceptions I believe you get what you pay for.
