Hi :)

I have been asked to add an editor to a website. I have chosen to use htmlArea, which looks quite good. Unfortunately, it outputs the longer wanted <font> tag to manage different fonts.
I was wondering if some people would have the kindness and the patience to help me modify the source code in order to get rid of these tags (I think that a <span> would do a better job).
Could anyone point out where the code should be edited? That would be great. The source is quite lengthy, but for the sake of my question, I have attached it in its totality.

Thanks in advance for your help. :)

I would recommend asking at the htmlArea forum...

I know in Mozilla you can modify the setting by doing something similar to this(might not be applicable for htmlArea):

document.getElementById('edit').contentWindow.document.execCommand("useCSS", false, !(source));
// from src @ midas demo (http://www.mozilla.org/editor/midasdemo/)
