Question about template web pages?

hello, can someone help me. i am trying to developing a sites which contain a lot of web pages. under normal html coding, i have to create some code over and over again, i mean the layout of the page, is there any possible way that i can predefined a default layout, and link every page to this defaul layout so every web page will look the same so i don't have to create it over and over again. Also, currently i am using dreamweaver to create my home pages, now i try to upload to my page, however some of the dynamic button (which come from the dreamweaver packages) doesn't display in my sites. isn't there any way that i can publish my sites by using dreamweaver or i just have to upload all the files into my home page server. Please give me some hint. Thank You

On the client side of things you can use Macromedia Dreamweaver which has an excellent system of creating templates to use throughout a site.

If you don't want to do it on the client side of things then you would need to use a server-side language such as php to generate pages dynamically using a predefined template.
