View Full Version : Need help with DreamWeaver buttons

Ok, here goes. I am working on a project that will require the user to submit some data, and I am wondering a few things.
1) Is it possible to redirect in straight up HTML, and if so, how?
2) How do I connect HTML to a database?
3) What is the best language to use to actually start messing around with databases?
4) How do I create/store profiles? I can do that stuff with a database, right?
I'm sorry if that seems like a lot, but I am still pretty new at web design. I have been programming for about 1.5 years now, so I have the basics down. Thanks for the help!

Oh yeah... I forgot to mention that I am using Dreamweaver, and I have Apache. I can also learn just about any language I need, but please, keep in in the realms of an over-worked high school student. :) Thanks!

I think the best language to use is probably PHP with a MySQL database, so I would ask in the PHP forum as they will probably be able to give more help than I can.
