Hiya Guys,

Could anyone please tell me whether its posisble to stop someone from seeing your code that is contained in a webpage by using the 'View Source' option? I have a script that contains a password to 'kick' an audio stream on an internet radio station, and I don't want people to be able to see this password within the script. Can anyone please let me know if its posisble, and if so how?

Cheers in advance guys

Your best bet is to use a server side script like php to do the password then, because you can't stop the view source. But a server side script would be hidden from users.

The only way to stop people from viewing the source is not putting it online.
