There's no content yet, but I'm not responsible for that, so just rate the layout.
Thanks in advance!

BTW, how come display: inline; does not work for the top navigation in Opera?

Nice! Really "smooth" with a nice bold header, and and image swap navbar made with no frickin' JavaScript. Couple of things I don't like: The ugly green background colour of the "XHTML CSS 508 AAA" links at the bottom on MouseOver, and I think the main text could do with a little left and right padding.

Overall, a nice job - and it validates too :p !

Okay, I think I'll remove the green background. Thanks for the feedback!

Riddy - you keep coming up with pointless posts, often only a few words long with no punctuation, crap spelling, crap grammar and no capitals (have you ever even heard of them?). Let me guess - you're trying to boost your post count.

I'd either pad the content boxes, or make their background (or that of the rest of the page) match. Or, boost the contrast. It looks like an accident right now (white boxes being hugged tightly by beige background looks like a style failed to cascade or something.)

And the "your destination" button text would prolly look better without the glow and moved up & left about 3-5 pixels? Give'r a try, maybe.

Otherwise, looks good. Looks a lot like that other green one you made though ;) Is this the same site?

I don't think there are many "desingers" on these boards. :p LOL

That header graphic rocks! Yay comics! :)

The whole site behaves very sluggishly in Firefox, though. Also, for your main navigation, you should check out the Pixy rollover method to avoid the flicker when the new image is loaded: http://wellstyled.com/css-nopreload-rollovers.html

Just my two cents... I'd actually like to see a little more "comic influenced" style, rather than a bad-*** header image and then an all-business two column layout. Maybe not as crazy as this (http://www.csszengarden.com/?cssfile=099%2F099%2Ecss) but a little something wouldn't hurt, IMO.

I agree with rmedek; if there's comic influence to be had on the design, carry it out in the rest of the page, not just the header. Bullet points, headers, menu items, all of those are good places to put just a hint of reference back to your comic book influence.

I'm a fan of the header, but it could jive better with the rest of the site if it wasn't the only place with a comic book allusion.
