The beta is looking very sexy - proper support for DHTML including createElement - and still very fast. Does have a couple of rendering issues, but hopefully these will be sorted ready for the public beta

I am expecting DOM2 support out of this browser, and even better CSS2 support than before, which would clearly elevate *another* browser over IE in terms of standards compliance.

FYI, they are asking certain developers to privately beta test Opera 7 right now. George filled me in on this when Opera Software asked him to sign an NDA and beta test it.

Yeah I know - they asked me too :D

SO far, i've only tried a few obvious tests for the kinds of things I was hoping it would do - the results are very encouraging.

George gave them my name, but I doubt they'd let a 16 year old beta test it (pretty sure NDA would be a problem for me) :(.

So many DOM2 scripts I could test it with, and advanced CSS2 examples....
