Hi,
I have installed the packet of phpdev into my computer.
However, when I open the the php command window, it pops-up an alert:
"This application has failed to start because php4ts.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem."
I don't understand about this.
So can you explain and show me how to run ( or install) php properly... :p
thx!!!

I downloaded phpdev423, which is suggested from this forum..
I installed it 3 days ago, I tried to drop it and reinstalled again but it was in vain... :(
My computer runs on Windows XP platform

Hi , in the start menu there should be a link phpdev_xp-2k or similar , click that to start apache , then goto http://localhost or http;//127.0.0.1 and see if you get anything ?

It works !! thanks..but I have one more question which I don't think that I should post a new thread: I try my php file with the address:
http://localhost/Foreveryoung/search.php
the Foreveryoung folder is the parent folder, should I have to specify the directory to my file, from myDoc/.../Foreveryoung/search.php or just leave it like that...
Actually, I couldn't get the desired result with the latter.
Thanks in advance

If you installed phpdev to say c:/phpdev then your document root is
c:/phpdev/www

meaning that your file should be located at

c:/phpdev/www/Foreveryoung/search.php

so find the relevant www folder and dump your files in there & try again.

If they are already in the right place & to check if everything is working , create a file called phpinfo.php with the contents( just this)
<?php phpinfo();?>
and see if that works in the specified directory (http://localhost/Foreveryoung/phpinfo.php)
