Hi there,
This should really be a much simpler question than most of the others posted here but I can't find the answer! :o
I'd like to get the font in question for my site but I can't seem to get it!
I've got Macromedia DreamweaverMX btw.
The font I'm talking about is the one used in www.thedreamclick.co.uk
I've seen similar on other websites but this is an example of it.
It is the text that starts with "We work this business together..."
Does anyone know how to achieve text that looks like this?
I just can't seem to get this professional look with Dreamweaver! :(
Strange question I know...but if you've got any solutions I'd really appreciate it!
Cheers,
BK123 :)

It must be on your computer to display it ;)
It's Verdana

As Error mentioned it must be on the visitors computer in order for it to be displayed unless the text is put into a graphic in which case you can use any font you want. Three of the most common web readable fonts are Verdana, Arial and Tahoma. Times New Roman is okay but I personally think it is harder to read on the web.

There is a way to embed fonts into a webpage, so even if you make the website using some crazy obscure font no one but you has, it'll display that way. I can't remember how, but I think it was on Spono.

And that works in every browser on every platform right?

Yeah, freaky fonts are best used in images. PHP + Freaky Fonts will, for me, equate to a script that generates images on-the-fly containing the text I pass it written in the font I supply it. Other server-side languages are probably equally capable of this, though.
Here's a neat list of fonts you're safe to use on the Web: http://webdesign.maratz.com/lab/fonts_table/

I can't promise that. =P Taking into the account the ammount of browsers that don't support a vareity of langaues (JS and CSS for example), I doubt it would. Just offering my two cents as usual.

Even better that graphics with text: The sIFR technique (http://www.mikeindustries.com/blog/archive/2004/10/sifr-2.0-release-candidate).
And yes, it works on nearly every standards-compliant browser (and Internet Explorer), on nearly every platform.

I already knew the answer to my question. I just wanted to point out that it will likely not work in many cases. When making suggestions that are not browser/platform independent it is a good idea to point it out to the person you are helping. Imagine if he wanted this to work in all browsers/platforms and then used that idea not knowing it wouldn't and got done only to find out he has to start over again.
