Welcome message on each page.

dear friends,
i have created some php pages and i want this kind of message on each and every page the user visits.

"Welcome, username.
You last visited: 09-27-2004 at 10:52 AM
Private Messages: 0 Unread, Total 0."

help me.

Need some more information...

The vars such as new email etc .. where is that coming from ? A DB? Text file? etc etc

Also if you are grabbing their username as their session begins and do not wish to send it to each page in a string then just start a session and register the name in the session.. then on every page it calls the session by the username and finds the mail vars from db/text file and displays it :)
