Hi guys,

I am trying to create a HTML newsletter for my company, it seems fairly simple, since all you need to do is normally to copy paste the HTML code to the email, et voila!

Well, no, as a test, I did exactly that, sent the email to myself, and it came back as TEXT!

Yes, my outlook is setup for HTML, and I do receive HTML newsletter from other companies, so how is this done???

Can anybody help? I did find something from bravenet, but they put advertising (this site has so many pop-up, it's scary!) and it is too limited. Other companies propose the full service but it is too expensive for what we are trying to do (1 html newsletter time to time)...

I would really like some help on this... Anybody?

Ages ago I tested out how to do HTML in emails. I found that if you leave the <html></html> tags out, it works. Not sure if that's still the same today though.

Well if I were to do it I would be using outlook (or express) and just click the source tab on the new message and and past in my html.

We just did this. I found the best way (for me anyway) was to create the page I wanted using notepad etc, then I cut and paste the code from INSIDE the <body> </body>tags.

In Outlook Express...
When you go to edit source, you will see in the main text area <DIV>&nbsp;</div> - Paste here.

At this point you can save as stationary.

File>Save as Stationary.

To apply the format...

Tools>Options>Compose>(Under stationary select mail)>Choose>(select the file name you saved the file under)>Apply

.....restart Outlook Express.

Good Luck
