PHP configuration issue

Hello everybody!

I am a new member of this forum!

I have a problem regarding php and mysql (running on Apache2 web server) configuration.....

I change in the php.ini file the default values of the include_path and extension_dir variables to point to the installation directory....

When I run the phpinfo() I see other directories within the table of values....

In addition no connection with the database is available as I get the fatal error of using an undeclared function..... :( :confused:

A helping hand is very useful!!!

If you have PHP5 you have to include the mysql_ or other db function as extensions.
