heres the site: alkatec.com (http://www.alkatec.com)

please say everything, dont care if you kill it,

thanks in advance

Flash on the front page - bad idea - not everyone has it and it takes too long to load.
Remember presentation should enchance you content not hide it.

Yeah i think the same way, but im not the boss, they believe it is a great idea to have a flash intro, and they certantley dont listen to some of the sugestions.

and about the rest of the design?

overall I like the design, but how about a skip intro link?

Very cleaver graphic though.

880 is just a bit wide IMHO.

Can you reduce it to 760 so 800 wide screens don't have to scroll sideways????

The "Times New Roman" font is a bit boring.

Otherwise, like it!

The skip intro link is mandatory, otherwise people who don't have Flash are unable to get past the Intro screen and for them all they see is a useless, broken site.

I like it too, but the Times New Roman font seems a bit plain... also, the flash anim is a bit slow. Speed it up a few fps and it should look great!

I think that you should maybe scale the whole movie down a touch and maybe you should fade in those flying pieces when they are coming in and going out. (using alpha if you don't know)
and on the inside you have some of the main graphics in jpg format which is alright if they are exported in 100% quality but I'm guessing that the ones that you have are around 90% so if you fixed that and maybe exported as true color .gif or .png to keep the photo quality high. As for the indside page it self I think that maybe if you had different pages for different resolutions it would make it better. I decided to see if you did but you didn't so I think that if you implemented a resolution detection/redirection script it would greatly increase the userbility of the site, as for the color scheme it is constant and blends well but I'm not quite sure about the menu on the right hand side. There is so much room dedicated to just that one menu which isn't very big in the first place so you could defenitely get some more room by making that area smaller.

And like most have already said the alignment problems seem to be very self evident. Also with the pages which display information in tables some of the tables are set with just thin black outlines and some have the default outset border which I think should be changed so that it is constant . If you are using that as a way to emphasise the information which is in the tables then you should maybe think about maybe a different color. AS for the actual source code you really should quote all of your tag attributes, I notice that in a few places there are some attributes which lack quotes.

Well thats all that I found but I'm sure I could find some more if I had the time.
