Why is it that when ONE open IE browser crashes, ALL OTHER open browsers crash too!?!!

When IE crashes it closes all the windows belonging to the crashed instance of IE which would normally be all the windows that were opened by the original coy of IE started by whaever mechanism you initially invoked IE.

It is possible to open multiple copies of IE so that not all the windows will crash together but it's better to avoid places that cause IE to crash.

It's even better to not to use IE (http://www.mozilla.org/firefox/).
