ASP to HTML

Is it possible to take an ASP page and have it show up as an HTML page in the address bar?

Example...

www.dot.com has a default page setting to be page.asp or www.dot.com/page.asp is typed in but instead the asp page loads all the code and then shows up as www.dot.com/page.html in the addressbar but populated with all the info that the asp page gathered.

If this is possible then how?

No its not, unless you can get into your server settings, and then you can make any extension you want, .FRD and make that excecute as an asp page.

If you really really want it to have an .htm or .html extension, you can have an .asp file that creates the .html page on the fly from stuff in your database - and then redirect the user to that page.

To start off with, there are examples of how to write a .txt file on

but you can do the same thing with an .html page. :)
