li html commands in Flash not working

According to the help, if you have the LI tag in a text field it will show as a bullet when using flash player 7. No matter what I try (formaitting as dynamic and static text, trying to preserve rick text html) nothing works...

the movie just shows me the tags as part of the text.

any ideas?
