Dynamic Flash graph

There's this neat Flash animation on the Survivor All Stars website (at the bottom of the page). If you move the mouse over the tabs along the top, you'll see the bars change (they indicate the popularity of each player in each episode).

Has anyone done anything like this? It's a neat effect, and I might like to try doing something like that.

Is it this one:

The only flash I see is at the top, where you rollover the image and it pops up stats, is that it? Sounds like you're talking about something else, but that one is easy to do...

Yeah, I've done things like that. Think of each episode button (1, 2, 3, etc.) as a separate self contained movie. When you rollover the static button, it loads that movie symbol which animates the graph to resize. It's just simple movies in simple movies -- you just write actionscript to control it's animation.

You can even do it dynamically as a database so that each bar value will jump to your specified value that your have as a basic text file or what have you:) Flash is fun, too bad it's inaccessible.

Sounds good. I think it would be a neat thing to try, at least.

And yes, I have found Flash to be fun! It's neat to play around and see what I can come up with! :)

Thanks!
