I have been using these great scripts from DTP - http://www.dtp-aus.com/cgiscript/allcgi.shtml I have recently had a problem with elists and the scripts author no longer supports the scripts.
I have mailing lists set up to collect addresses only and this works fine.
When I tried to make the script use the double opt-in function that is I select the checkbox "Submission confirmed ONLY via an emailed link-back" I get the following error "E-Lists Error response - The program has responded with an error - The result is: - Could Not Read Subscriber File! "
I thought it was a permissions error so I changed the file permissions on the file in different configuration but none worked.
Any ideas what the problem might be?
