 I am trying to get a form to submit directly to my email adress. I am using dreamweaver MX and I can get it to submit to email, but not the way I would like.
The way I have it currently set up is when you click on submit it brings up a pop up box that says:

This form is being sumbitted using email.
Submitting this form will reveal your email adress to the recipient and will send the form data without encryptin it for privacy.
Than it says ok or cancel.
If you hit ok it, sends from the current open email in outlook express.
How can I send straight from the site to a email adress? I guess I want to know is there a Java script that I can do this with? Any help would be appriceated.

If you do not want to use outlook, then you need to use a serverside language such as PHP, ASP, .NET, CGI to do it. JavaScript can not do it.

If you are using a free host, then you most likely can not send mail.

I am not using a free host, I use globat, I was hoping there was an easy way to do it but I guess I will have to spend time with it. Thanks for your help.

Nope, as a client-side language, javascript can not do that. You must use a server-side application (php, asp, pearl, etc.) according to the permission you get from your host.
