I have a 3 1/2 in. floppy that was corrupted, and says that it "is not formatted" I know that the files are still there, you can veiw them in the command prompt, but I want to rip those files off the disk. I need something that doesnt use a FAT table. I tried several programs already, including "get data back for FAT" but they dont work.

Any suggestions?

I think you are a little confused on what FAT actually is. It is the File Allocation Table, it says where physically on the disk files are stored. Have you tried running chkdsk or scandisk on the floppy to see if it can be repaired?

If you've got access to multiple systems you can check that floppy in several of them, often you'll find that one system may be able to read a floppy that another system won't touch.

I have immediate access to at least 10-20 computers, and more if needed.

It doesnt work on the 5 ive tried them on.

I know what a FAT is. I need something that can rip the files off. I wrote some JS files at another computer at a school, and they wipe their computers every night. This disk was the only place these files were located.

Some friends of mine made some very similar programs, and put them on a server. I tried to access the server, and they wiped it (my website was there too...) The server was ftp://mac6272.lsmsa.edu. I cant access it with smartftp, or in-browser. They deleted our ftp accounts.

At this point in time I'd guess you've got a damaged floppy. Right now I'd look for a data recovery utility or a raw disk editor that'd allow you to find your scripts regardless of the damaged directory on the floppy so you can save those scripts.

if your any good at linux or know some one with it ask them. Linux can be fantastic about data recovery, there is knoppix (an OS runs from cd).
