Annoying little error beeps..

Ok so how do I get this things for good.. i mean when I make a mistake in the command promt.. its annoying....

I'm using windows xp pro

open your case and unplug the speaker ...
(should even be microsoft-proof :D )

I would do that.. but I hear the sound through my "real" speakers also.. besides.. there are beeps I DO want to hear.. such as "real" error beeps.

I think all beeps and such can be individually set to (None), from Control Panel > Sounds and Audio Devices: use the drop-down menu from the Sounds tab...

I've tried that.. thanks but I still get the beeps =-/.

This is mainly for the mysql command promt
