to find page number of pdf file through javascript

Hii Guys,
i need to findout the page number of a pdf file through javascript in browser.
if not javascript, then by any other means.

here's the complete problem...
IN BROWSER,

we have 2 frames, LET and RIGHT
In LEFT frame, we've a form and there is a textbox and submit button in it.
In RIGHT frame, we've a pdf file with more that 50 pages.

Now as u scroll up or down in pdf file, the page number shud change automatically in left frame text box.

Any clue, or help will be helpful.

in short, no, you can't do that.

really don't think JS can read properties of PDFs, since PDFs are viewed in the browser thru a plugin, ie a viewport for another application (for want of a better explanation).

And PDF has already page numbers it, why duplicate it? :confused:
