Am repairing a PC just now (win XP SP1) and for some reason when I click the user control panel it opens but there is nothing there. There are 4 user folders in c:\docs & settings but only 2 appear on the welcome screen.
Also, when clicking the search option on the start menu, an empty window appears as well.
anyone came across something similar before??
