Using ASP & ASP.NET Simultaneously

Just wondering if ASP and ASP.NET can share the same session variables?

I have a site that is entirely ASP (I'll eventually be moving it to ASP.NET, but for the time-being I just need to update one part of it - which is more critical)

I want to use ASP.NET's uploading functionality inside my ASP application.

Is this possible to share session variables between both languages?
