Floating Image with hidden message

Hope someone can help me.

I'm a total novice at coding (barely learnt HTML two days ago). An instruction by my lecturer tells me to "Create in Javascript a floating image with motivational message that reveals upon clicking"). I don't have the faintest idea how to do this - don't even have a nodding acquaintance with Javascript!

Then you have a stiff learning curve. Not only will you have learn HTML backwards, and forwards, but you will have to learn CSS, and JavaScript. Doubt seriously you will learn all of this in less than 6 months.
