Hey everybody - I'm new to this forum and as my sig states I'm a future university student and definitely a newbie as far as this forum is concerned. I'll likely be coming here to ask questions about simple coding from time to time but probably won't be able to "contribute" much. :( BTW, thanks to Dylan Leblanc for introducing me to this site!
Anyways, I wondering if there's anybody around here who has studied (or know about) the University of Waterloo's (Ontario, Canada) program. I'm undecided on my major but there's a good chance it would be computer science if I don't crash in the first course, and already I'm having doubts on whether or not I'll make it through after looking at the course web site (I chose the more advanced one, CS134, but sorta regret not having chosen a relative bird course). If anyone's been there, done that, could you give me an overview of what it's like to go through the program (or the intro courses) and how to pull things through? Does it really live up to its hype (won ACM contest a few times, supposedly more Microsoft programmers are grads there than from anywhere else)?
