hi all,
i actually have a question but i am not sure if it's relevant. u see, do you all think that a good graphics card is needed to be installed in a laptop?lets say i am using an intel centrino 1.4ghz. is it necessary for me to install a graphics card?or is the in-built tech in the m/b of pentium centrino sufficient enough? or if i do need to install, what kinda brand and how much graphics card memory?64?128? lets just say, i am not a gamer..so it's just beeing used for programming, databases, report writing, chart generating, light photo editing...stuff like that.

pls advice. Thanking u all in advance.

Well, see in a laptop/notebook you can't really upgrade the graphics card later. Whatever it came with is what your stuck with except for some where you might be able to upgrade the ammount memory on the video card. If your not playing games, then what you've got is probably fine.

actually, it depends on what model laptop you have.... ;)

But generally speaking, the answer is no, you can't upgrade, and fortunately in your case, the answer is also "no", you don't need to.

Better vid cards for laptops are more essential when you plan on gaming on said laptop. If you don't, you're golden.
