Hi people!
Probably most of you already know...
I found a site where you can download for free a little set of scripts that allow you to work with flat text database in a MySQL fashion...
I mean, as I can't use MySQL this is the best stuff I found so far to connect to my flat text db and make operations like MySQL (limited of course, but good enough!) and I was able to write easy pages like catalogue of products etc.
As I think may be useful for somebody like me, here is the address:

http://www.myth.netla.pl/puszkin/puszbaza/bazaang.php

just download puszbaza121.zip 14kB

Don't be scared if the site is not very easy to understand.. part of it is in polish!

I am not polish at all and I don't understand a word of polish... but the essencial things are in english and I think it worth a visit!
Actually I am using this stuff a lot!
Thanks Puzskin, the author of it... nice job (imho)!

My previous message was about searching a db created with Pusbaza... but I have a problem searching all the fields at once... this is one of the limitation, I guess... so I asked for help to find another way to search the dbs....

Hope this was useful, even if only for one of you friends!
ciao
Alex

NB It is possible to download also a set of script to administer pusbaza database... like phpadministration... but this is really totally in polish... may somebody translate it in english and make it available, with the author permission?
:)

Thank you for sharing.

BTW their link to their documentation is incorrect. Here is the correct link:

No problem, Spookster!

Hope that someone like me that can't use MySQL may expolre Puszbaza code!

Sharing a drop with you is nothing, compared to the ocean of help I receive from CodingForum (and during the last years from WA)...
I will never be tired to thank you and the other programmer for the uncomparable help you give to us...

ciao
Alex
