recycling windows xp

Hi im building a new computer and im trying to see if there is anyway i can possibly recycle my windows xp software on the new computer instead of having to buy another copy.

As long as you own the license and only place it on this new machine you're building - you will be fine. You own it and you can place it wherever you wish - one at a time. :-)

And assuming you do have a license then if you do encounter problems with it not wanting to register on the new machine then you can call Microsoft and they can fix the problem on their end and allow your key to be used on the new machine.

And what Spookster is talking about should only come up if you've recently (last 90 days) activated that copy; otherwise you shouldn't have a problem.
