Why do you want one? They serve no purpose, they're pointless, and don't help your site look good. Everytime someone goes to your site they'd see a pointless screen, they already know what they're goin to see, why remind them time and time again slow them down from seeing what they wanna see? They want to see content, not a barrier before the content.

On another note, we can't help you make something when you've not given us anything to work with. You need to do it yourself and we'll help you fine tune it - no one's gonna do it all for you

I think occassionally splash pages are appropriate. If there are multiple areas of a site that a user could be trying to access, it could actually save them time in the longrun.

Redsun - If you show some initiative and actually need help I'm sure there are people who would be happy to help, however no one is just going to do the work for you so you don't have to.
