Thats how I feel.

I have been looking for drop down menu and found one from web-nova.com and downloaded it straightaway. After building my own menu, I was pleased with it. I only found out that there is a pop up window with a link to web-nova.com on IE but not on firefox which I was testing first.

So I decided to find out more at this website, found out that it is not free so I guess fair enough and looked at the price....it's $49 USD!??

I think thats unfair considering they have put a download link in their homepage which fools users like me (I know, I know) but fair enough, it cost time to develop this great javascript but... $49????

Any other drop down menu do you recommend which can be free or be purchased at good price?

CoffeeCup has a freeware program to create DHTML dropdown menus. Go to http://www.coffeecup.com and look around the site.

possibly means that if you pay the money to the guy that spent his time coding it for others to benifit from, he will remove the link for u

I had a try at CoffeeCup's freeware DHTML menu maker and I'm very impressed with it.

However, it generates a huge file size (extra 25Kb of coding on each webpage) but I guess thats probably the only way to go. I have no choice!

Of course, I have to pay $49 USD to remove the link but again, it is $49 per website which is on expensive side but has very small file size on website. I can't win anyway! Unlimited licence is $199 but the real question is how often do I need it?
