What do you think of this site -> http://www.hamsterclan.tk

It needs an update, but since i'm working on 5 sites and a game project,...

btw: This site isn't meant for 56k modem users (it's a clan site for a game that has really high system requirements and it can't be played online with 56k, so any1 who wants to join, has the game and a good computer, logic isn't it?)

I didn't implement xml yet (coz i'm currently testing xml on another site to figure out a good system :) ), but i will probably do so.

anyone who wants to review this site, or at least give some comments

i personally think the bg is too hard to work with. navigation colours are blah. the bottom counter thing is umm not really apealing. nice effort, a tip would be maybe focus on simple things. maybe a nice plain black bg with eye catching colours in the text.

I agree, and though it is written nicley you are using tables in lieu of standard complient, css. . . all in all it's a bit much. I don't care for your choice of fonts, and the graphics seem to overwhelm the content. Has potential though.

well, i'll focus on your advise during the big update ;)
but, i don't think you've played the game before, so it's normal you don't appreciate the background (it's actually the same like the menu from the game)
I personally think the lightblue navigation colours are nice and fit in the futuristic asset of the game

Graphics overwhelm the content, indeed, is meant to do so

btw: navigation colours, i suppose you like the blue colour, but not the lightblue and the lightgreen; i like the blue colour (=already visited) the most :)
The nested tables are a bit much i know, but i thought it wasn't possible to create a static background with framespages, that doesn't repeat himself(but it is possible, i found that out when working on my other clansite)

I don't like that it is a frameset. It could easily be just one page. I have to scroll to much on that page. I think taking the font-size down a little would help.

yup, thanks for the comment, i'll lower the font-size ( nobody likes scrolling eh :) )
