What kind of software would one use to write .php? Also, can anyone suggest some sites that you think is good to teach a newbie like myself who knows nothing about .php the basics, and advanced stuff when I am ready for it?

Thanx all.

This is a great forum.

You can use a simple word editor like notepad to write php applications. Myself I use Homesite, I find it a useful IDE to write all my web based applications in (minus the java ones).

You can find some good tutorials at:

www.php.net
www.zend.com
www.phpbuilder.com
