View Full Version : What Menu Type Should i use?

Give me your opinion of what type or style of menu i should use on this site and where i should place it... Im kind of leaning towards the left side for a menu but if could always fill that with something other then a menu and mut a menu right under the pink stip at the top...

Give me all your opinions....

Sorry that i havnt designed for 1024X768 yet 800X600 is best for viewing

Without changing the design I would think the traditional left nav would work the easiest/best.

well... i'd put it in your sidebar, seeming as it looks abit empty without. also that pink is very... pink :D

I must say I agree with redhead, I think the pink is a little bright. I didn't post it before because I didn't want to give unwanted criticism.

I think this type of layout calls for the left side navigation...

and that pink ... :D :D ... is way too pink ....

Also Gekko does not support coloring of scroll bars, so you may want to leave them alone to make the layout consistent. Especially since you are putting in the DIV, users are going to look for something familiar...

If it was me I would have my main menu across the pink bit and my sub menu down the left.

LOL...Funny story...I did not realize it was pink because im partialy color blind....Anyone have sugestions of what color to make it.... Give me Hex

just a suggestion:

scrollbar = #425A97
iframe backbround = #C5CDE3 (a little less purple than current)

Thanx for all your input... 1 more thing..Should i ditch this design and try again...iv gotten alot of reviews and most dont seam to like this design... Im not a pro at graphics so i have to keep it pretty simple...

Give me your input?

I think the design is fine overall. I just think the colors need(ed) some tweeking.
