2 Java Scripts-one cancelling out other

I have a java scroller in my template and another different java countdown clock on one of the web pages in the editable region. However, the 2nd script is disabling the scroller. Any way to fix this so that they both work?

Have you made sure that names for the functions and/or variables are unique to each script?

Or: onload conflicts.
Hard to tell with such limited information.....
