Hi all,
I am developing a website for a school of my friend. Though I have experience in designing webpages with HTML and Javascript, I want to develop this website a database driven one(or students records and admin's records). Can anyone please suggest me what are the languages should I chose for coding.
Thank you
Raj.

This depends largely on what your intended hosting provider is supporting.
If it's supported, the combo PHP / MySQL may be an interesting choice. This combo is widely supported, PHP is fairly easy to learn, and there's a vast collection of excellent reading material on various applications, as well as tons of coding examples.

The php manual (http://www.php.net/manual/en/index.php) is a great manual, if you are going to be learning PHP you'll make use of it a lot.
