Hi,

I'm new to this forum and I'm not sure if this can be done in JavaScript. It's a very simple problem yet I'm not sure how to solve it. Anyways, here's my problem:

On my website, I need to have users fill out an application form with their first name, last name, address, etc. Then when they click submit I need the data (formatted) to be emailed to a particular email address.

That's it. Can I do this in JavaScript or should it be done in a database language?

Thanks,
Justin

If you want it to be sent automatically without having the users use the installed default client like Outlook and send it, then you need a server-side language and an SMTP server to do it.

<form action="mailto:admin@test.com">

but actually it will send mail by the default mail-send program you installed

otherwise ,you need use asp or other serverside scrcipt to process your mail
