I-Frame help!!!

hi guys,

if an i-frame was to load with an external website and the website was not found, how could you bring up an error 404 page in the i-frame, on the website displaying the i-frame,

that is nonsense for me. If the main page (which has included the iframe) is not to be found, how can you expect to get any piece of code of it, including the iframe's src?

... on the other hand, if parent and iframed page are from different domains, there is no way to cross-domanin manipulate one from eachother, for obvious security reasons
