I am using Windows XP, and I have my quick launch toolbar in my task bar, and I like it, however I also like for all the icons to be in a scpecific order, so I arange them all, but next time I start up my pc they are back to alphabetical order, why? and also every time I start up my pc it also puts a stupid "quick search" toolbar in my task bar....

how can I fix all of that?

the folder that you have the quick launch tools in may have the arrange by alphabetical set on it you might just go unselect that option for that folder. Check the startup folder for the quick search otherwise I don't know that one.

I have tried that tho, :(, it didnt work, no matter how I arrange the icons in the folder it is independent of the icons in the taskbar
