window.opener as target for a form

Hy everyone!

I am a newbie to Javascript and I have a little problem.

With a link, I open a popup window containing a form.
I want that this form has as target the window.opener in order to not open a new page every time i submit the form. :confused:

I search in the forum and i don't find anything.

Anyone can help me?

in popup:
<form target="mywindow" ...>
or
<form onsubmit="this.target=opener.name" ...>
