you have www.php.net, download a manual for futer reference
www.webmonkey.com /starters guide
www.phpbuilder.com /has some good articles
www.devshed.com /good devellopers resurce
www.hotscripts.com /has good tuts and tooooons of scripts
and if that cant sort you out then buy a book(yeah, i know ther overpriced)

there are also some good articles at www.sitepoint.com and they have published a book ('Building a database driver website with PHP and mySQL' by Kevin Yank - which is absolutely superb if you're getting started). Then after Kevin Yank's I'd recommend Rasmus Lerdorf's Programming PHP edited by O'Reilly.
