border bigger on one side?

i'm going a layout for a cgi message board and i was wondering why the border for the second table seems bigger on the right side then the left, but the table above it, its the same width all around.

Its bigger across the top and right side...any suggestions?

i feel about stupid...i get to typing really fast and forget stuff...i closed one lil thing. I like the fat top border, maybe not...oh well
