What is the logic behind this?

What would be the logic behind this? Is there any explaination how could it bring up the same image that you selected?

all the correct answers are multiples of 9, thus all the multiples of 9 have the same symbol attached to them.

I tried it about 3 times and all three times the final number was a different number than the others and they were not multiple of 9.
As well, the images itself were different!!

I was just searching online for some good math forums to bursh up my math skills.. and I came across this .. so..

but anyways.. like i said, i tried 3 times with 3 different number and 3 different images and they all were right!!!???

Its even cooler that all the multiples of 9, the sum of their digits add up to 9, or other multiples thereof.
Same goes for the number three.

Technically it should be the same image, unless if you made a mistake when you were adding or subtracting numbers....
