Try the links from this search: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&q=Windows+Server+2003+IIS+ISP+setup+secure&btnG=Google+Search

I think you may also want to search the MS web site, limit your search to "whitepapers" and it should return you some usable information without drowning you in the irrelevant.

I'm sure you wanted a free one but I don't know of any. However, this book (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0072194855/ref=pd_sim_books_4/002-7054872-4836035?v=glance&s=books) is very good. I've read the editions for versions 4 & 5 and they are well written. And it is nice to have a book with you while your configuring the server.

XP's version of IIS is watered down. You can only have like 10 or 15 sessions at once and only one website. You could use it probably for development work but you can't use it in a production enviorment.
