ATI Driver issues

Installed the ATI 4.3 driver that i had on here 2 days ago. (I just reinstaled windows, ebcause i put in a new mobo)

I was able to disable the ati2evxx.exe program from running at start up, by deleteing it in the run folder in teh registry. Now, its not in there. I disabled the atiptaxx.exe that opens this file. And turned off the setting in the driver that runs it, and its still running.

How do i make it not run at start up.

you might try running msconfig from the run command and disabling it that way aswell, that has an absolute path to the file aswell. if you can't use msconfig beacuse its not present then google for it and install it into your windows directory to get access to it.

i rooted around in gpedit.msc and found it in there. Took care of it.
